ready for fun
connor woke up ready for some fun today. he loves his saucer, specifically the squishy triangle. i wish his hair would show up better in these pics. he woke up with the funkiest hair of all time. it was like a combo of alfalfa and elvis. he had his first try of jar food yesterday...and of course he loved it. he had sweet potatoes and some more bananas. he's really doing well with spoon feeding. if i could only get him to stop saying, "bbbppptttt" between bites......

What an expressive and happy guy Connor looks like! I assume he's all healthy again? Oh my, the worst is when Chloe sneezes after taking a bite of oatmeal or applesauce. Disgusting. Gotta love these little babies though. After Chloe sprays me with a juicy sneeze she usually smirks at me. :) What a stinker!
This is unrelated to your post but do you know of any good stores in Novi? i'm heading there Thursday to meet my sis-in-law and family for a shopping/hotel get away. She said she remembers some outlet mall there, correct?

yes, novi is a great shopping place. 12 oaks mall is one of my favorites. shoptwelveoaks.com is a great resource. there's a lot in novi actually. right near the mall there are bunches of strip malls with some great stores (tj maxx, old navy, pier 1...). up and down that area there are lots of things to do. right across from the mall is another big section of shopping including the great indoors....very pricey but great ideas! if you're up for a short drive (15 minutes? maybe)there's a fabulous consignment shop called baby baby in a very quaint little shopping district. i'm not remembering an outlet in novi, but i usually only hit that section so if it's in a neighboring town i wouldn't know. i know of kensington outlets (about 20-30 minutes past novi) or birch run (about 1 1/2 hours north). feel free to email me if you have any more specific questions or if i can help with local knowledge. :-) christinaalison@yahoo.com
He always has such great expressions! I am so glad to hear that he is feeling better! It is always so hard on a mom when their kids are sick.
Hey, Ava loves the triangle too! She sucked that thing everyday and it seemed like she was actually getting stuff out of it. probably spit from herself but whatever. I know that's sickening, but she was happy.
