the crunch is on! i've been "getting ready" for florida for the past.....FOR E VER.......FOR E VER........FOR E VER.....(remember that part from the sandlot?) i thought this year would be a breeze. i mean, i'm home all day so i can easily pack, clean the house, and get the little things necessary for a road trip. WHATEVER!! Cici Christ and i were talking about this last night in nursery, why is it so hard to get things done now while we are not working outside of the home? what's up with that??
i finally got our taxes done. thank you turbo tax. the bedroom is almost clean and i'm about to start working my way through the rest of the house. hopefully, connor will stay asleep until i'm done with the main floor (at least i've been able to keep that semi-done this week). then maybe i'll have time for a workout and a shower.
then i will start the task of packing! i hate packing. but then tomorrow we are headed down to the sunny state of florida to visit nathan's parents....yeah! (stopping off first in greenville to see gramma and grampa wheeler!! yeah! ....and dawn, marc, colleen, and kennedy too!! yeah!)
