in moments of sleep deprived insanity, i allow my munchkins to watch a morning cartoon while they eat brefix. this was one of those things that i initially thought, "maybe i should tag this with an 'i will NEVER…..'". but let's be honest, when we do that, we almost instantaneously form that bad habit in a big way. so, instead i decided to slap an "i will occasionally allow…." label on morning cartoons. on one such morning i was having to remind connor to focus on his food. he was watching a commercial and not eating. so i said, "connor, are you becoming too distracted by the tv?" his reply was, "it's ok, mom. they're just shoes that make you run super fast.... like three miles an hour!" well, in that case…..
lots going on around these parts. too much, in fact. i know there's a reason why i haven't blogged in a while. truthfully, i was debating on whether or not to delve into the deep dark recesses of my mind. but who knows, maybe one of my dear friends is going through similar junk (that's the only way to describe it….junk… or i could cuss, but i don't think my mother would approve.)
so, through the next few posts i will unload the swirling mass of thoughts that have created a spaghetti tornado that would rival flint lockwood's. you know, flint. the funny scientist from cloudy with a chance of meatballs. come on, people! brush up on your kids' movies!
