i can hear you when the windows are open...

sometimes i wonder if the kids realize that i can, indeed, hear them if the windows are open.

today i heard:

"trading pleases the Lord. you want to please the Lord....DON'T YOU?"

child one: "don't tell your mom. she'll be mad."

child two: "oh, no. i have to tell her. don't worry. she'll be AMAZED!"

fast forward a few weeks.... :) it's been a while since i've posted. facebook is way too easy. but i have another kid quote that made me laugh. this is how connor described an interaction with his friend.... and, yes, this is a direct quote. as soon as he said it, i ran out to write it down.

"so, she was like, 'i'm never gonna play with you again!' and i pulled her hair and got a timeout. and then i said sorry, and it was all cool, but she was like, 'i'll never play with you.' and i didn't know what to do."

make sure you read it super fast.... and with many hand motions and much expression. ;)
