today we played bowling. i would set up the pins, and connor would knock them down. first, you have to know that connor doesn't call them pins... he calls them legs. bowling legs. he got a spare and yelled, "woo hoo, mom! i got a sparrow!"
tonight, we chatted on skype with nathan's mom. at one point connor said, "i'm just like my father... and poppa jo-g." then he ran to get his hat and did his rendition of pants on the ground.
before bed we decided to have a surprise seuss movie night for the kids. they LOVED it. i took the kids in their bedrooms and got them all jammied up while nathan moved the furniture and set up our own little theater. it was one of the best family nights we've had in a long while. we danced, we sang, we ate WAY too much junk food. ;) a perfect evening. connor leaned over to me with his hand out for a high five and said, "this was a GOOD surprise, mom." and it was.
they discovered that you can stick marshmallows to your forehead
like father, like son
love my fam!

This looks like a great movie time! Thank you so much for skype this night. It was the best time via computer ever!! I just love it when the kids are all "sugared up".
