***this post was started at the beginning of september--yeah, i'm really good at follow through on this whole blog thing. i didn't post it b/c i couldn't get the pictures, but i figured out how to get the pics off nathan's phone, so enjoy. and keep in mind... sep-tem-ber. ****

monday was a pretty relaxed day around here. no big plans, no organized activities. just hanging out with the fam. so we decided to hit the ice cream shop one more time before it gets too cold to enjoy it outside. i hate to admit it, but this was my first blue moon of the summer. i didn't get ice cream up north this year, which is where i usually get the delish flavor, and i got my other favorites at the ap daily scoop when we would go here at home.

since it was recently connor's birthday (and more likely since daddy is good buds with the owner) connor got to scoop his OWN ice cream..... WITH sprinkles. he loves superman. we have figured out the best way to get meg ice cream is to order connor's in a cup with a cone on top. then we just scoop off the cone and there's plenty of ice cream inside for sister. otherwise, if you give her a huge cone all to herself.... this is what you get:
