i told him to go get a tissue. he did. but i'm a moron and had the box tipped on it's side... a tip i stole from jess b/c i thought, "oh, what a great space saving idea! i can still use the long boxes of tissues and not have it sticking of the end of the toilet tank." i did NOT consider the trajectory of a box of tissues being pulled quickly and forcefully in the direction of the frequently-left-open-even-though-i-try-reminding-connor toilet bowl.
he brought me his tissue, we took care of his nose, and then he casually mentioned that he was trying to get a tissue, but the box just fell right into the water. instantly, i knew what had happened and went straight for the camera. this one was going to be too good to pass up.
later that night, he was playing with his magnets on the fridge. he really loves these magnets and i love them too b/c they aren't tiny. they're ginormous. they connect together or you can attach balls to make shapes and all sorts of fun stuff. meg loves them, too. connor says he likes to decorate the fridge with them. so he was doing that and saw that megan was about to reach the brush from the floor.... yes, the brush was on the floor b/c i hadn't cleaned up the floor. he knew she wasn't supposed to have it so he grabbed it and gave her a magnet to play with instead. he's really getting good at being helpful in that way. but what he did with the brush made me smile.

he made a shelf out of magnets to put the brush up high so meg couldn't reach it. pretty ingenious, huh? ........
...... ok, i didn't say GENIUS.

Yes, we too have experienced the whole box or tissue and the whole roll of toliet paper in the toliet bowl, only mine were never propped on the edge of anything...they just mysteriously ended up there!
