gramma wheeler, and dawn cooked like fiends and gave us quite a feast. they brought the food over from their condo. marc and colleen set up an amazingly beautiful christmas table, and there were presents galore in the music room.
nathan opened up some fun gift cards from tj maxx, ebay, and itunes..... all his faves. i got some candles, a cool calendar, and enough gift cards to target and old navy for the rest of my much needed winter maternity wear. in fact, yesterday, i hit every old navy within a 45 mile radius and found some sweet deals. connor got some gift cards, fun cars, super cute sweaters and a church shirt. oh, yeah, one more thing.... he got a drum set. that's right sports fans. nathan's parents got him a drum set for christmas. he loves it. and i have to admit, without the cymbal i don't mind it that much.
we're in nursery tonight, so i am desperately wishing and hoping to get a nap. enjoy the pictures!

i wanted to get a pic of the little man in front of this arrangement, and he whipped up his shirt right as i took the shot. i ended up getting a good one, but who wants to see that? we love the cheeser shots!

too funny. dave and my first date was at the gassaway mansion in 96. i'll have to find some pics and show you! =)
that's so cool! one year, after walk-a-thon (or some other school wide activity) we had the 1st-3rd grade watch "the treasure map" which was filmed at the gassaway... i told the kids about nathan's uncle and that i'd been there bunches of times. you would have thought i was a celebrity. it was pretty funny. i love to hear stories about it though. i love historic buildings and i think that one is so pretty.
What an amazing place! How fun to be there to celebrate Christmas day!
