what else? shells! we were planning on hitting it friday night (on our anniversary) since i was supposed to be without my one and only.....little did they know! we were going to have the parental units, jo-g, me and ace, and the canfield kids....steven and christy were going to be in tampa for the rehersal dinner of a family wedding. christy didn't want to dump all the kids on us ....bless her pea pickin' heart!.... so the idea got switched to thursday. oh, boy. trouble with a capital T. we were pumped b/c we thought it would work out perfectly to have our anniversary dinner after nathan got down to FL. so at first, i didn't say anything. but then nathan and i came up with the idea to see if we could get the dinner pushed to friday under the guise of 'waiting for jo-g'. well, it worked out anyway b/c our beach day got pushed back to thursday b/c of rainy weather and i knew connor couldn't go to dinner after a long day at the beach. so we had a fun anniversary together.
now to all my family that didn't enjoy shells this easter...... i actually liked the rolls. they were quite delightful. and although i didn't get my cole slaw i got my grilled shrimp. let's be honest peeps, is the cole slaw the reason you go there??? i think not!

Thanks so much for the time and sacrifice you all took to come and visit with us. We loved having you here. Dad has told just about everyone about the BIG surprise of Nate walking in the front door. We were "shocked" and pleasantly surprised. We love you three.
