we took a not-so-long drive to the island and played all morning, had a picnic lunch, and played until the sand got too hot. we had to get home for some very tired little peeps to take some very long naps.
the water was crystal clear....GORGEOUS! the sand was soft.....WONDERFUL! the sun was shining.....FABULOUS! and the tide had brought in a mini-wading pool just like when we were at indian rocks beach when connor was just a wee lad. the Lord couldn't have given us a better day. the kids had a blast, we all got to relax in the sun, and having a private beach isn't too shabby!! you wouldn't have believed this place. it was superb. and we didn't even go inside the main house! it was REALLY nice to have a bathroom though.
connor LOVED THIS! and i don't want to hear anything about him wearing a t-shirt and hat. he has VERY sensitive skin and i wasn't about to test it's strength on the june sun in florida. it's hot out there people!

Wow! that place looks amazing--definitely not your typical beach house. It sounds like you guys had a great time!
Have I ever told you that you're spoiled?
that is my FAVORITE Bryan Regan comment...I use it often...although, never on something quite so fab as your beach house. I really do mean the peanutbutter and jelly and croutons in a jar....or my 1 o'clock iced coffee....I mean can life get any better????
ok just so you all know. I stayed home to work so that she can live the life style of the rich and famous (amoung the blogging world atleast :-)
so what do i get when I go to visit for three days??? well nothing just a pool, family and love. but then again I am simple and that all i need (please pray for my wife you're right Kelly she is spoiled)
alright, don't get sucked into his little pity party.... he got chick-fil-a AND shells within hours of landing in florida. plus three fun days with the fam.
and i'm only a LITTLE spoiled. :~) ....well, maybe more than a little.
This is wrong...that picture of you on that porch waving at me and saying "Ha ha you are plopped in the rice paddies while I am living in the Beverly Hillbillies mansion". :)
(yes, I am glad you had fun)
We think Connor is the one that needs a little bit more of the "spoiling". He can come back for more private beach, Siesta Key, French fries, Ice cream and 'treats' anytime he desires. We'll spring for the ticket. Christina is a jewel!! She did the dishes, cooked, and laundry for me - are you sure you don't want to come back down south Sweetie????
Whoa, that place looks like it needs to be featured on lifestyles of the rich and famous. What what an awesome experience and what great memories for your family!
