he said he had a pretty good birthday yesterday....he shot a 76 so i'd say that was a pretty fun day on the links. and then we got his favorite dinner...chili's. they messed up our order so i went back to get it fixed and we got $10 gift card....happy birthday to us! and bonus, i got to see my cousin sara. she works there now. every once in a while we'll see her around town. she used to work at the baskin robbins, then ruby tuesdays, and now chili's.
today was beautiful out by the river. we took the boat out and fed the swans. connor and ava just like throwing bread in the water, and i just like the fact that josh loves holding connor....built in babysitter. hey, i have no problems using and abusing my cousins as babysitters. i myself was a babysitter b/c of them, so it's payback baby! :~)
unfortunately, nathan's birthday gift isn't here yet. but he knows what he's getting so i'll tell you. i'm getting him a business card holder for the office and maybe a nice name tag for his desk.
happy birthday, babe! we love you so much!
lovely flower candles.....i'm amazed that after 3-4 male birthdays we have yet to purchase manly candles.
nic brought ava's little table for the kids...which was great until connor started kicking ava and the table, nearly tipping it and ticking ava off in the proccess. he was moved to the booster chair after that. the little green chairs are my parents though. they were purchased JUST for the kids.

Happy B-Day, Nate!
That pie is beautiful! Is it from your oven or your mom's? Hey, if it's from a store, it's still gorgeous. :)
BTW, I love the placemats too. My kitchen is in blue & white too. Do you know where they're from?
The little table pics are cute too. The story of Ava & Connor cracked me up.
Happy late birthday, Nate! I saw you walking down Allen the other morning, probably with clients. I was driving an old grandma's car, so am glad you didn't see me. Well, not really. I'm pretty much not embarassed by cars anymore.
my dad is the strawberry pie maker. at least i think he made this one....i'm not sure about the mats. my mom has some dishes on a shelf that match them. you know those old school blue prints? i'll try and remember to ask my mom.
kt-
i'm sure he was going to tina's kitchen...his new favorite hang out. :)
that strawberry pie looks scrumptious. Oh my, those kids are adorable with their blue beards!
Mmmm, Blue Moon, I have to say I look quite a bit like those kids when I'm partaking of the heavenly stuff!!
It's Tina's Place you geek. You are turning into dad.
