my cousin daniel graduated from high school last night. i was a little nervous that we couldn't go b/c connor was in quite a funk yesterday. he had a fever and he was MAJORLY cranky. i am fairly sure that his teeth were the culprit, but i didn't want to take him to the school just to whine. we went ahead and got ready and when daddy got home from work we headed up. my parents were more than willing to watch connor so we could go inside for the ceremony. and since ava was with them connor seemed to forget about his teeth bothering him....funny how he's fine when i'm not the one watching him. we got a pretty good picture even though connor was getting whiny at the end, but you should have seen the shot we tried to get at the family party after ....yikes! connor was doing really great, he wasn't crying at any of the boy cousins and he was actually playing catch with some of them. aunt claudia said she wanted to get a picture with connor annd daniel, so nathan hands connor up to daniel and the kid FREAKED! he was squealing, red faced, muscles tense....freaking out. if aunt claudia got the pic it will be worth millions when connor graduates. but it was a fun night either way.
yeah, daniel! it's pretty cool to get your diploma from your dad.....or uncle, as many of us did/will.

Does anyone ever tell you that Connor looks like Daniel - they have some expressions that they do the same, and it always blows me away when I see it.
yes, i've had a few people tell me that...and he has some derek expressions too. every face he makes reminds me of another family member.
