what i know

i know that God is good ALWAYS.
i know that HE leads us every step of the way.
i know that HE is there, even when we can't see Him.
i know that HE provides every need.
i know that HE moved in the lives of others to provide jobs for nathan and myself exactly when we needed them, for the exact time we needed them.
i know that HE has orchestrated events -- whether we see them as "good" or "bad" -- to work His plan perfectly, and to work in our lives for HIS glory.
i know that HE can be trusted, even when the fog of life's trials blinds our selfish eyes.
i know that HE will continue to lead us every step of the way.
i know that HE is God.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
the Lord allowed nathan to pass his test this morning. needless to say we are ecstatic!! connor and i jumped and danced around the living room this morning....i was excited and he was just glad that the ban on loudness was lifted momentarily. i know he had no clue as to why i was jumping, but he was more than happy to jump into the fun.
this has been a long road, and it's definitely not over. the learning process will continue for months while nathan trains and works on some other testing. but thanks again to all who have prayed and encouraged. i don't know how people make it through trials without Christ. the body of believers is an amazing thing. and yes, there IS power in prayer. and YES, sometimes God says, wait. and yes, sometimes He even says, no. we have learned much over the past year and i can't wait until connor is old enough to understand and learn from what God has taught us. for now, Jesus loves me and prayer time is good enough. :~)
YEEHAW! What an encouragement and relief to see God's hand so clearly. I say ditto to the lessons you're learning about trust and faith in God's sovereignty. Our years during Matt's schooling are going to be such sweet memories when we reflect on all the miraculous ways God provided for us and taught us to truly trust Him when we have no ideas what's ahead. We rejoice with you! Let us know what God does next!
What you wrote brought me to tears. You wrote what I have too been learning all along the way, just on the other side of the world. THanks for sharing this because it is an answer to prayer for me. I have prayed for you both, and it is always a huge thrills when we see a specific answer. He not only took care of all the material needs but also the spiritual too. He is Good.
