i know they'll understand this and appreciate it as they are girls after my own heart. move over starbucks, this is MY morning drink. when all my friends started drinking coffee, i stayed true to my roots. for as long as i can recall, when we would go out for brefix i would always order a coke. specifically i remember this from bob evans and big apple. coke and a sunshine skillet. coke and a swiss melt. i'm fairly predictable in almost every aspect of life. after i got married i switched to diet, and at first i thought, "how can i abandon my best bud?" but i have come to love diet coke and can't really handle the sugar in real coke anymore.
i have to say i'll take a fountain drink anyday, but a close second would have to be coke in a glass bottle. but however it comes packaged, it better be filled to the brim with ice. i LOVE ice! for this i blame uncle paul and gramma. they both fill their glasses with ice too. specifically with iced tea.....go figure, right?
so yesterday as i was driving to get nathan's lunch, i saw this billboard and cracked up. it fits me perfectly.

Okay - so is this another "hide-the-names-of-your-relatives-in-your-blog" thing? Because, if so, this one was a LIT.TLE. obvious! :) JK - - - Cool pic!
Ok so ya gotta put this post up with "sunshine skillet" "swiss melt" and then you go and offend me even farther with "ICE". I am dying right now....I had rice with potatoes and green peppers today for lunch washed down with COKE in a can...yuck.....but I was imagining it to be Bob Evans believe me.
Can you tell I have been missing food a lot lately? The all time best is that ICE though.
brenda-
haha! yeah, i'm trying to help the slow learners. :) although, that would only work for certain uncles. :)
