dad's birthday dinner

technically, it wasn't his real birthday party, but it was his real birthday so nic and i took the kids over for dinner last night. mike was on his way to winter camp with the teens from bethesda and nathan was late b/c of work. but it was nice to not cook and let the kids hang out. they were pretty cute playing together....and it seems connor wants to follow in dad's footsteps as a drummer.

turns out they're quite destructive little boogers too. my mom set up all the blocks and they came in ready to rumble. my dad did it earlier and they were cackling hysterically, but this time they were a little more reserved.....and then my memory card filled up and cut off the rest of the destruction. oh, well......it was fun.

Drumming looks fun and I am amazed that they didn't hurt each other with those drum sticks! Great idea of your mom's to have them destroy those block towers. Connor's a pretty fast little crawler!

i was amazed too, alicia. no one got a bop on the head. they both love destroying those towers.
