christmas eve--opening stockings. i cut an old wrapping paper tube and stuck it in ace and huddy's stockings.... of course, as typical kids they loved it.

we played a quick game of scrabble to pass the time before lunch--drewbie and jo-g getting ready for the game.....hey, he came for christmas he had to know he'd get a family nickname
gracie and uncle nate made a great team. until uncle nate tried to pass off "jearn" as a word. grace took over after that and finished the game well. she's a good speller

we made jo and drew take a pic together...which of course, they were NOT thrilled about. but we had to get drewbie in a shot somehow
the kids recited some of the christmas story for us...great job as usual
bye uncle jo-g. he had to go back to the island to work
the obligatory hold...we joked that steven hadn't held connor...but we all know he loves him
