i am getting a bit concerned about my christmas card pictures. i ordered them through snapfish (i had 25 free credits coming to me b/c of mypoints--thanks, amber!!!). i ordered them just about the last few days of november.....the 30th i think. and i got an email confirming shipment. i figured they'd be here by now, but i think i'll give them a couple more days before i start my holiday rampage. but if they don't show up by monday i'm gonna be stuffing somebody's stocking.
ok, i'm cracking up right now b/c connor has been standing at my chair for five minutes trying to get a hair from between his fingers. poor little guy...i've gotta help those chubby little stubs.
he's been into this weird phase lately, he'll stand next to the couch and rest his head on his arms. it's very cute, but i haven't been able to capture it yet.
tomorrow nathan's going hunting with my dad and uncle bob. i'll have the car, but i don't really think i want to go out on a saturday. the malls are wicked crazy this time of year, and if you haven't been paying attention i don't really enjoy being sardined into a steamy mall store that doesn't even have their racks far enough apart for strollers. seriously, who do they think ups their revenue? it's ME. spread out your store for crying out loud!
although, perhaps i can talk my mom and sis into hitting tarjay with me. i just thought of a great last minute stocking stuffer for nathan!
here's a connor funny: he's been really into riding his retro rocket lately. (it's his combo birthday/christmas present from uncle mike and auntie nic). well, he either pushes it around in circles, or gets on and goes straight until he runs into any stationary object. walls, couches, tables, chairs, christmas trees.....yeah, that's right. he ran into it last night and could figure out reverse, so he just yelled until i came to help.
ok, time for connor accomplishments: he knows puppy, duck, up please and the usual mama and daddy. and now when he's tired he crawls up to his crib and reaches through for his blankie. he pulls it as far as he can and stands there sucking his thumb until i notice.
well, time to go barter with the cable company. prices are going up again so i have to renegotiate. ah, capitalism.

yes, this was staged for daddy, but it sort of shows my point. well, not exactly since connor is biting his blankie like a lion and not sucking his little thumb like a lamb. you get the idea.

That retro rocket is so cute!
Congrats on the completed shopping! I'm only 1/2 way, but I need to get ideas before heading out again. Walking aimlessly in the mall is the last thing I want to do!
Enjoy the hot chocolate!
I'm all done with mine, except for all the brothers/sis-in-laws. I guess that would technically make me 2/3 of the way done. By the way, the Soup Nazi Seinfeld episode was on the other night. I thought of you, except you've been pretty good about the pictures lately.
yeah, i cracked up! i saw that one. hey, you've got to fill me in on last weeks gilmore. i got home from sams just in time to see luke and christopher duke it out in the manger. what????
Ok. Long story. First there's Rory & Logan. Logan finds out that Rory's been hanging out with Lucy & Marty and then tells Lucy that Marty & Rory use to be good friends. Lucy gets mad and won't talk to Rory, which then gets Rory mad & Logan walks out on her. Then, there's Emily's "wedding party" for Chris & Lorelei. Chris goes with Lorelei to pick stuff out for the party when out of the blue Emily asks about their wedding vows. Apparently, the "party" is a rue for having a wedding ceremony. However, Lorelei says she doesn't want that. Oh! Luke is sueing Anna for custody of April. Then, there's the triangle. Let me break it down.... Liz makes Luke watch Doula, and Lorelei goes over and coos over the baby. Chris sees this and is a little jealous. Well, after the whole Emily & the surprise wedding thing, Chris & Lorelei talk about having a baby, but once again, she says no. Chris gets mad & says that Lor only wants what she wants. He goes out and gets a drink to blow off steam. Well, on his way back, he runs into Luke, and after Lor cooing over Doula, but not wanting a kid with Chris, and then the whole not wanting a nice wedding with him, even though she was going to have one with Luke, and everything, they just get mad at each other and deal with it in typical male fashion.
excellent summary! ok, i must have missed when liz had the baby. doula?? what is that? did she name it after the doula that delivered the baby? i am more and more convinced that lor is a flake and luke is better off without her. she's so immature.
well, thanks for the update.
Yah. I guess Liz liked her doula so much that she named her daughter after her. (She had the baby 2 weeks ago.)
