you betcha! we hit the airport at 1pm today to get our one and only daddy. right now the boys are sleeping and i'm just wasting some time before i start the mountain of laundry that nathan dragged home. two weeks on the road...yowza! then of course, i'll be getting dinner started....a real meal. which is roast, carrots and potatoes. funny thing...i was digging through the freezer this morning and realized i had no red meat. that's not cool when the man is coming home and dreaming of a man meal. so a quick trip to meijers was necessary, though i dreaded it b/c i am a strict weekday morning shopper. meijers is a crazy house on evenings and weekends. but it was mostly bearable.
my mom's house is back to normal...... with one new hot water heater. connor is sick (what's new). we went to florida with sniffles and coughs. then they went away. came back to the cold and they were waiting for us. ahh, life in the mitten.
countdown to excitement....this may require a ticker......
WE ARE GOING TO THE FOX TO SEE WHITE CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!
i am MORE than excited about this. i LOVE the fox. we used to go every year to see the nutcracker, but several years ago they stopped playing it at the fox and moved to the masonic (i think). i can't wait. my parents are watching connor and we are having a big time date night. dinner and the show.
yesterday i made my very first pumpkin pie. not bad if i say so myself. and i also spent the entire day making gramma sanders stuffing. yeah, it took me all day. i put in too much seasoning. but that's to be expected when following a gramma recipe. remember, she's the one that says, "oh, gitcha about this much." there's no such thing as a true measurement. so she guesses when she tells you what to write down. pretty darn close though.
well, gotta go get my dinner started.

I have no idea what the fox is, but an opportunity for a date and seeing White Christmas sounds AWESOME! Rock on! White Christmas is my all-time favorite holiday movie. Enjoy and don't forget to post pictures of your dating selves.
Shut UP. We're going to see White Christmas too! We got our tickets 3 weeks ago, and I've been SO excited. What night are you going? I'm hoping to get a dinner at Pizza Papalis before too. I surely hope this play does not disappoint. :) I'm sure it will be great. I've never been to the Fox. Chris & I went to the Nutcracker at the Detroit Opera House the Christmas we were engaged.
detroit opera! that's where it moved. you'll love the fox. it's spectacular! we are actually going tonight (wed) b/c it was the only time nathan's home for sure. connor is spending the night with my parents....sweet freedom!! :) it will be weird i'm sure but i plan to have a fun time.
