if you live in the metro-detroit area you know what i'm talking about. yesterday was out of control. every time--litterally, EVERY time--i looked out the window the weather was totally different. totally and completely different. we all know the old saying, "if you don't like the weather in michigan....wait 5 minutes!" well, yesterday i think that was completely true. we had snow, we had cold, we had clouds, we had rain, we had a pellet-like snow/hail, we had rain, we had blazing bright sunshine, and huge gusts of wind. last night there was a freeze advisory. hate to break it to ya, babe, but you're comin' home to a freeze out. at least none of the snow stuck.
then this morning i was watching fox and friends......they are a hoot. they're the only news show i've watched in which no one uses a "broadcaster" voice. you know what i mean? that certain voice inflection that is so fake. i mean, no one talks like that....so who decided we wanted to hear news like that? that's probably the reason that the news was never on until my in-laws turned me on to fox news channel. we used to watch channel 4 in the mornings just for the weather, then the today show would come on....gag! then after a visit from nathan's parents where we were watching fox news channel, i found out about fox and friends. they are hilarious! although i will say, i miss e.d. that new girl isn't quite my style just yet. but steve and brian crack me up. they are totally sarcastic and funny. if they miss a cue or drop a prop they make a big joke of it and they really have a great sense of humor. well, today fox and friends took over the huge tv in times square. it used to play the today show, but this morning it switched to fox! so they had steve go out with a giant remote control and do a countdown. when they switched it over, an nbc peacock was on screen. then from the sky falls the fox logo squashing the peacock and sending feathers everywhere!! it was hilarious!! they've been playing it all morning.
so today is packing day. tomorrow, we are picking up nathan and heading to the cabin for some family time. which means i have to rummage through his hunting gear and hope i get everything. :) the only thing left is to find subs to cover me for three-year-olds.
so how 'bout it? any icbc bloggers want to spend some quality time with the 3's?? i've been emailing and calling (still a few to try today....after i track down numbers) but if anybody out there want to help a sister out leave me a comment. i know i need a sunday school sub.....but i'm waiting to hear back from my church sub, so if you're feeling good go ahead....make that comment. do i sound like a "feed the children" spokesperson? i feel like one. but this is the fastest way to get in touch with the most possible people. i should have done this first! what was i thinking?

Kylie and I will come and do it but it will cost ya roughly $1,700.00 per person for the ticket to fly there. But I suppose if you are desperate you might consider it. Hey if you consider springing for the flight I will even clean your house from top to bottom while you are gone AND cook a weeks worth of meals. Do you like Chinese?
$1700, huh? can i keep the frequent flyer miles?? :) maybe i SHOULD consider this.....a top to bottom clean?? and chinese?? i do love chinese.... if i can't swing the cash maybe we could go back to work on that hole from connor's party.
My family loves Fox News. That is all we watch (Fair and Balanced) My husband makes fun of me and says we watch Fox News in stereo because I have it on all over the house so I don't miss anything!!~
