how cool is THIS??

so nicole calls me the other day and says, "you have to go to meijers. they have the coolest new carts!" since i had to go anyway i thought it would be cool to check these things out. they are SWEET! they are similar to most fun carts b/c they are the shape of a car. but they are MUCH shorter and very easy to maneuver around the aisles. the coolest part is....ready for this?.....there's a TV in the car for the kids to watch. it plays the wiggles while you shop. connor LOVED it. and i loved it too. my sister and i both thought the basket section seemed a little small, but after i shopped around, i was able to fit way more groceries than i expected. now, there is a downside. it costs a dollar to rent it for your shopping time. not exactly what i would want to pay everytime i shop. i mean let's get real...i clip a 40 cent coupon so i can go blow a buck for my kid to be happy through the store. sorry connor, but you'll have to learn the hard way that life isn't always fun. mommy's too cheap. :) but i will definitely use it on occasion. and the only other negative (which isn't really that bad) is that you have to switch your groceries from the fun cart to a regular cart before going outside. for obvious reasons. the wheels actually lock up 5 minutes after you check out. so we had a great time at meijers this morning. and we saw gramma tally too! that was an extra touch of fun. and btw, my gramma is stylish! she always looks so cute. no baggy sweatpants for her shopping time. so here we are with the cool new cart.

let's go, mom!

this TV is way cool, guys!

you know, huddy would fit nicely in here with me

shh! i'm watching TV you guys just keep shopping, k?

Somebody in the marketing world is getting smart. Relieve mommy's stress so she enjoys shopping here - awesome addition to the age old cart world.

Did Grandma Tally take your picture or did you stop a stranger and pose? And if it was Grandma Tally, where is the picture of her in her stylish digs? Hmmm?

nathan was with me and he had his camera phone. please....like i would stop a stranger by myself. and we actually saw gramma somewhere in the cheese, so by that time we were ready to get our veggies and hit the road. no thought of a pic by then. :)
