itty bitty levi's

ava and ace both had their little tiny jeans on today. they were too cute. ava is a walking machine and ace can finally keep up (sort of). so i took some pictures when i found them playing by the bathtub.

here's the conversation:

ava: wow, connor. this bathtub is so clean and april fresh!
ace: yeah, my mom has been cleaning a lot b/c my poppa and momma jo-g are coming. she even cleaned me the other night. that was NOT cool.
ava: but remember we did bring you ice cream.
ace: oh, yeah! that WAS cool.
ava: i had ice cream in my hair. and butter from my roll at dinner. my mom washed me too.
ace: man, that stinks.
ava: yeah, i know.
ace: wanna go throw stuff in the living room?
ava: ok. but only if i can drink your juice. i love how our moms freak out about that!
ace: yeah, they really freak out. i wonder what they would do if they knew we just had our hands in the toilet?

oh, here's a little treat for your day. i am a superhero! no, i have not yet completely lost it. i saved two peoples lives today....in the overdramatic "YOU SAVED MY LIFE" movie line sort of way.

ok, here's the scoop. i was rollerblading this morning and since i didn't have connor with me i stopped at nic's to ask if i could borrow the mower...again. well, jackson was out and there was a lady walking a big black dog (sort of looked like another lab but not as pretty as j-dog). jackson was totally messing with this mut. he wasn't barking or being mean. he was just eyeballing him and following him. well, this dog was going crazy. pulling this poor lady all over. she tried to stop him and get him to sit....wasn't even CLOSE to happening. so me being not so much a dog hater but definitely not a dog lover, just went past and thought, "i'll just turn around and go back to the door once spazzy mcghee gets her dog across the street." so i circle back to the fence thinking they should be across the street and at least on the other side by then. not quite. she had stopped completely on nic's corner. sort of looking dumbfounded and sort of looking lost. but i think she was just trying to get kujo to settle. so i sat on the bumper of nic/mikes truck until she crossed. as i'm getting up to go to the door, i see this piece of paper on the ground. it looked like it had a phone number written on it....but as i pulled it closer i saw it was a CREDIT CARD NUMBER!! complete with security code and exp. date. SHEESH!! "nic's sure lucky i found this, and not 'peppina's'!!" (that's the name we gave to the unique soul that came to our garage sale and told us all about his job at the former local pizza joint peppina's. so that was his name for the weekend whenever he stopped by....and yes, he stopped a few times!)...carol the name giving reminds me of you! :) so i got up to the door and gave it to her, and of course told her that i saved her life.

then i got home and started mowing the lawn. nathan was getting ready to run up to the office to check on something for his test. he had his bluetooth earpiece for his phone in his pocket. well, as he was getting into the car, somehow it fell out. thankfully, it fell just inside the track of the wheel so it didn't get squished when he pulled out. but doom was still in it's way! i was about to wash down the driveway. just before i let out the first blast from the hose.....my cat-like reflexes kicked in. i spotted the beast just in time. i saved his life!

then i fixed some settings on my mom's blog! i am so cool! please no autographs. just love me.

ok, official horn blowing ceremony has now come to an end. honestly, these stories are truly amazing b/c normally i would be so oblivious to all of that stuff. oh, well.

As a reader of both your blogs - you and "Mrs. Scooter" remind me of Lucy and Ethel - - - maybe it's a good thing that you two live on different continents!!!!! Ha ha! Your adventures are never-ending!

I love those jean pics. Very cute. It's hard not to be jealous of you being so close to your family. I think it would take me months to rollerblade to see my sis or mom. :)

So, do you want to be Lucy or Ethel? I will let you choose but I would agree that the time zone differences might keep us both out of jail.

GREAT NAMING! Our family has really gotten into it now and you all are going to have your asian counterparts here. Two of our apartment complex guards asked Hal for English names. He names one after Ed Flower....so he now has his asian twin. :-)

You are next...I am on the search for a christina. I did find a Brenda and will post that on the blog soon. :-)

hilarious! you'll have a whole "mini a.p." before you know it. :)

i'm thinking i'm more of an 'ethel'. only b/c i'm not at bold as you, luce. but trouble still finds me nonetheless.

I would totally be fighting over getting to be Ethel - - - for cryin' out loud, she didn't have the show named after her, but her husband owned some primo real estate - - - the Lucy and Ricky RENTED!!!!!!!!! :)

BTW, Mrs. Scooter - the person bearing my name over there had better be one hot super model....!
