it's graduation season.......

let the games begin! it's graduation season, and that means i'm not cooking!! :) yes, we get invited to enough graduation parties that i don't cook during the first three weekends of june. today, we really lucked out. brefix, lunch and dinner! yowza!

so this morning, nathan and i got up and ran a mile. (easy for him, not so much for me--but i'm getting better, at least trying) then we got ready and walked up to the brefix party. we saw gramma and papa, and uncle paul and joshua, but somehow i missed aunt elaine. she's a quick little booger.

then we got home and started to plant our flowers in the front. (last night my mom took me to home depot and gave me a crash course in flowers...i knew NOTHING) we set everything out and nathan just ran up to lowe's to get the one stinkin' brick that we needed. amazing how we could be one brick short. so we'll finish that up and maybe get some cheap mulch to finish it off.

then when connor wakes up we'll go to the lunch party. then home for another nap, and then back out to the dinner party. where we will most likely see my parents.

i'm hoping to finish the ironing during connor's afternoon nap. yes, this is our life. simple and lovely.

nathan has been studying like a fiend!! he's really trying to make sure he has a firm grasp on things. it's looking like his summer schedule will really allow him some good study hours. his goal is three hours a day. not necessarily in one chunk though. so keep praying!
