as you can tell from the pictures nathan was extremely vital to the work. :) actually, we joked that nathan was the foreman and wouldn't even give brent a 5 minute break to drink his malt.
see, nathan has a hammer in his hand. that's vital to laying block.
no! you can't take a break! sheesh, some people!
and, wa lah! the brick on top was brent's idea and we LOVE IT!
now it just needs some cement poured into the center and we will be back in business.
we have the most unique porch on our street now!! thanks for your hard work brent (and hanni, good call on the ice cream!)

Wow it looks great! How fun to get a home project done that looks great too! (unlike replacing a water heater or something) This pics from the pontoon were fun too. Connor is getting so big (so trite a saying, but true!)
We're entering the final quarter of the moving game. We're getting ready to load up tomorrow morning and hopefully be on the road by early afternoon. We're unloading Tuesday evening. Would Nathan & his muscles be available, by any chance? :)

unfortunately our car broke down as nathan was pulling in the driveway from church. and tuesday night he'll be busy with getting that taken care of and switching back my dad's truck, which we sort of stole since they're gone until tues. but depending how all of that goes....we'll see. hopefully, no snags. the red car doesn't have a/c and i refuse to drive connor in it...the back seat doesn't connect to the frame of the car properly it just flops forward.
