for those of you who don't know, tally's have big heads. i don't mean "big heads" as in arrogant. i mean their heads tend to be ginormous. now, i can say this since i myself was a tally and can occasionally be hat-challenged. you have to be very careful when making purchases with this condition. the other day i saw a baby boy winter hat on sale. being a new mom i thought..."hey, i should get this for connor so he won't get sick. you lose so much body heat through your head." realizing the "hat issues" ahead of me, i purchased a hat sized 6-12 mos. now, you'd think that a 3 month old head would fit nicely into a 6-12 mos. hat. you'd think so, wouldn't ya? not my little guy's dome. and thus, we came to grips with reality. the tally curse has been handed down to yet another generation.
