but i freaked a little b/c i thought for sure my blog was a goner. all i saw was… "you are not an author of any blog. this blog has been removed."
GASP!
seriously? i think b/c i was hacked i was suspected as spam. well, let me tell you i felt like my house had a fire and my kids' baby books were the only things ruined in the fire. i know there are some of you that have had to deal with the devastation of a house fire. i am not trying to one up you. i can't imagine that hardship. i can't. but this stupid blog has been like my kids' baby books. so, in a minuscule way, i felt like my baby books were eaten by fire. the fire of a hacker. maybe that's not the best example, but when i first noticed my blog was gone, that's how i felt.
enter blogger help forum. not.helpful. at least that's what i thought at first. i get it. i understand why they have their system set up this way. but i chose blogger b/c it was easy. you don't have to be super techy to post blogs with this system. however, the process of getting my blog reviewed for an appeal just seemed super techy. there were a steady stream of links to follow and articles to read. looking back, it's not that bad a process. initially, i thought i was looking up at the mt. everest of tech. and i tried to remind myself that this wasn't anything of real value. in light of eternity anyway. so, i prayed and asked God to just help me remember that, and also to help me not worry about it. and just like He always does, He heard. i did the steps and checked back a few times to see if the blogger helpers had answered my question, but i didn't dwell on it. normally, i am a worrier. i dwell on things i can't control. let me tell ya, satan is ugly. he is sneaky. he tried so hard to make me believe i can DO something about EVERYTHING in my life. don't get me wrong. i think we are responsible to work hard and do what we can…. God did give us incredible minds to use. and i firmly believe that just "letting go" is foolish. like the parable of the servant that hid his money from the master, while the others went out and worked it. just sitting like a bump on a pickle is not being a good steward of the brain God has given you… man… where was i going with this…. OH! ok, so, don't be a doof and just wait on God's magic touch, but don't try to worry about it and frantically do everything you can think of. DO something. but don't think that you are the only one DOING something. anyways… i just praise God that He helped me learn patience and not worry.
and i'm pumped that i have my blog back!

so happy!! You are back to writing about those adorable, sweet, cute, precious, too good to be true grandchildren of ours!!!!!!
Yea for sweet kids!
Yikes! That is weird and scary about your blog getting hacked. SO GLAD you were able to wind your way (with God's help) through the maze of help articles. I went through a similar ordeal when my hotmail account was hacked. Unfortunately, hotmail never fixed things so the hacker still has control of my account. !!!
YEAH!!! So happy that you are back in business! I LOVE reading your posts. :)
