my sister did a good job putting the race into words. at least, the intensity of the race.... it's just as she described it. especially the hallucinations. one year, my dad was convinced he saw nathan in a tree. he knew something wasn't right and he asked his partner if they had passed any people recently. the guy told him 'no' and my dad said, "ok, well, just so you know.... i'm seein' 'em!" that wasn't good.
