two days and 6 dvd's later.......

i've been finishing my collection of dvd's. we have four years of spring break and christmas sitting in our camera bag, so i decided it was about stinkin' time to do something with them. i am such a nostalgic sap-meister at heart. i loved every second of it. watching old memories and recalling the fun we've had in our short life together. florida, greenville, atlanta and all the stops in between.
there was the year that dawn got about $100 of christopher & banks gift cards, all from different people. the canfield kids reciting luke 2....with gusto. very cute, if you live near me it's a must see. aiden growing up before our eyes. the boys getting their guns for christmas, nicole not being able to hold the secrets of christmas gifts anymore (she literally looked like she would explode!) mike getting his "man in a snowball" ornament, and then getting the exact same one the next year b/c it had shattered on the way to kentucky. nathan and his dad doing what can only be called synchronized swimming. lots of fun to watch. but lots of time to transfer. but, so far so good. there was only one mess up (i still have one dvd burning so we'll see about that one tomorrow).

and now it's time to get ready for daddy to come home! he's flying home late tonight so he'll be back in the morning. hopefully, the weather will settle down in atlanta (he's flying utah to atlanta then detroit). there has been a 2 hour delay which would cause him to miss the detroit flight.....that's what they are thinking anyway, so pray that all will work smoothly.

connor was so tired tonight he went to bed at 7:30. he was practically begging to go at 7p but we were just leaving my mom's house. so now he's snuggled up with his blankie. and i'm going to finish folding laundry.

nothing witty has happened lately. probably b/c ace has been sick and i've been a hermit at my mom's. well, i've only got one more movie to make (gramma teaching us how to bake turkey) so that shouldn't be too hard.

oh, yeah.....the lakehouse. watched it. loved it. there was a predictability about it, but it was one that made you anticipate the ending b/c you knew what was happening but you wondered if she would realize it. so yes, it was a winner in my book. a neat twist on what would have been a boring, typical love flick. and not being a keanu fan that's big for me. of course, i'm very much not a johnny depp fan, but jack sparrow was a hit in my book.

i leave you with the mountains of utah. thanks babe for sending them....hope you enjoyed your "mountain fix".

well, these are a bit smaller than i thought they would be but you get the idea.
i am king of the mountains!!!

utah's finest

wow! that is one good lookin' man!!!!

a view from the road
