we have lift off!

attention please....

as i was getting connor ready for bed, i realized i had forgotten to change his sheet. so i plopped him down on his rug, like i've done so many times before. but this time....much to my surprise, and joy to my over tired soul......HE GOT UP ON HIS KNEES!! i have been putting this kid on his belly for months! and FINALLY he raised up his entire body onto his hands and knees!! oh, joy! oh, bliss!

i couldn't believe it. so i yelled, "nathan, get in here!! he's on his knees, he's on his knees!" and he did it again and again. we must have watched him for 15 minutes. clapping and saying, "up, up" and he would try and mimmick our voices and then jolt up.

yes, there is hope. he will do more than just plop on his back, and flop on his belly. my little man is growing up so fast. 9 months old and i'm already getting nostalgic. hmmmm...............

well, he better get a move on if he plans to keep up with ava bava. she's a whiz on her knees and soon enough she'll be walking everywhere.

oh, boy...i think i should go out to babies r us tomorrow and price some safety gates!

i am thankful for his pace.......turtle-ish that it may be.....b/c i know that if i had a 9-month-old wandering around my house, i wouldn't have known what to do with myself.

i'm gonna be on that kid like a hawk tomorrow to try and catch him in the act. hopefully, i'll have a picture of this momentus occasion.

First, they decide to go and try to attempt crawling, then before you know it - time to walk, the next thing you know is you will be sitting at his little Kindergarten Graduation watching that sweet little baby walk down an aisle with his cap and gown. Okay Okay maybe I am a little nostalgic because my baby is walking down the aisle. I can remember vividly when Hope first started crawling. Almost the same kind of story. I set her down at bedtime on the floor and all of a sudden she decided to crawl for her juice cup. We woke up the boys and watched her crawl for about 15 minutes. Austin still remembers that "moment in time". Enjoy him!!!

Love, Aunt Tina

They do grow up so fast don't they??? Crawling?!?! Yeah...before you know it he will be on the go and following you around like crazy!! Just in time for summer!

I couldn't wait for Victoria to crawl and walk...but can you believe it that she was WALKING at 8.5 months old?? I thought I was going to pull my hair out. I will never forget it...as far as Logan goes... (since they are only 14 months apart) I kept him in his swing as long as possible. I couldn't imagine him walking at 8.5 months like his sister. He didn't start walking till he was 11 months old! That was bad enough!!!

Oh, by the way...Nathan has done a beautiful job on your house and you have done wonderful in planting everything!!! It has changed the appearance so much!!! It is so nice to sit back and look at a job well done, isn't it??
