how much????

ok....here's the story of the week. nathan's mom has this really sweet friend who's always doing nice things for her. well, she found out christy and i were here and she wanted us to be able to go shopping with nathan's mom. well, this lady knows we don't just have tons of cashola running through our homes, but she does!! so, she called this cute little.....almost a boutique....and had some gift certificates left there in our names!
so we get there and ask for the gift certificates and this sweet little lady running the register says, "do you know how much it's worth?......$150!!!!"
christy asks, "total?"
"nope," says the sweet old thing behind the desk. "$150 EACH!"

to quote my cousin david, "ouchie va va va!"

we couldn't believe it! we started zipping through the store trying on all sorts of stuff. i went crazy over shoes and accessories. christy found tons of tops. and we had a great time putting on a fashion show. they must have thought we were crazy, but we felt like movie stars running the joint. being waited on hand and foot, and buying everything we liked. it was a great time and i'm so thankful to that sweet lady.
